Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Essex and Cambridgeshire. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing commercial support for projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure profitable performance through successful commercial and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial support for projects, working closely with operational teams.
  • Contribute to profitable performance through successful commercial and financial management.
  • Report to the Commercial Manager on all financial and legal matters.
  • Understand contractual requirements of project documents, including roles and responsibilities of all involved and notices required to record change.
  • Liaise with clients, client representatives, and other third parties on commercial issues.
  • Cost management for project/section of works.
  • Value management for project/section of works.
  • Prepare interim and final accounts.
  • Evaluation and recovery of any change that is not risk/liability.
  • Risk and opportunity management for project/section of works.
  • Procurement for project/section of works.
  • Financial reporting for project/section of works.
  • Support the Commercial Manager for the project.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified with a civil engineering background.
  • Strong understanding of cost management, value management, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work closely with operational teams and provide commercial support.
