We are seeking a highly skilled Equities Analyst to join our team in Henley, supporting our stock selection process across all relevant geographies. Our team has a well-articulated investment philosophy and process, an excellent track record, and a reputation for giving a high degree of autonomy and responsibility to its team members.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth research into investment ideas, with the aim of making recommendations for purchases or sales in the funds, using a 3-5 year investment horizon and a valuation-driven approach.
- Present investment recommendations to other members of the investment team both verbally and through written reports.
- Monitor existing investments in team portfolios.
- Ensure all activities are in line with OppenheimerFunds Distributor, Inc.'s Conduct principles.
- Proven equities experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience performing stock research and making investment recommendations.
- Fluency in a relevant language would be beneficial.
- Excel proficiency is a must.
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and a willingness to challenge accepted wisdom.
- Passion for investments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Intellectual curiosity.
- Open-minded.
- CFA qualification would be advantageous.
