Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to play a pivotal role in our Extra Care Services. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Location: This role is based within our Extra Care facilities.
Work Schedule: This is a part-time position with a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
Welcome Payment: A Welcome Payment of 5% of the starting salary is available upon successful completion of the probationary period, subject to eligibility criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Assist in overseeing the care team, managing work schedules, and providing guidance to staff.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate in the development, implementation, and assessment of personalized care plans and risk evaluations.
- Health Oversight: Monitor the health and well-being of residents, ensuring timely interventions to maintain their health.
- Medication Oversight: Ensure accurate management and documentation of medications as prescribed.
Candidate Profile:
While prior experience in a senior care position is beneficial, a strong commitment to quality care is essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to support your professional growth in a nurturing environment.
