Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Engineering Director and contribute to the development of project plans and strategies.
  • Deliver high-quality MEICAT project engineering services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities, from initial inquiries to securing contracts.
  • Exercise commercial awareness and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Demonstrate expertise in RAMS (Risk, Assurance, Method Statement) and uphold high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Engineering Managers, Supervisors, Sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A strong educational background in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on project management and engineering principles.
  • Relevant certifications, such as the 18th Edition Electrical or SJIB Card, and experience working with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in the water treatment industry is highly desirable, but not essential.
