Quality Assurance Manager

**Job Summary**

Totec is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join its experienced office engineering team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day planning, operation, and maintenance of the quality management system as defined in the Company quality manual.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Liaise with Production Managers, Engineers, Works Inspectors, and NDT to ensure timely and effective quality control is exercised on company products.

* Identify, implement, and progress quality improvement projects to a successful conclusion and report on customer complaints and customer satisfaction responses.

* Approve completed quality plans prior to issue and at contract close-out together with final release of finished product.

* Responsibility for NDT department operations and liaison with clients' representatives and inspectors on QA/QC matters.

* Planning and coordinating internal audits.

* Compilation and submission of data dossiers.

* Welding engineering, welding procedure compiling and qualification, welder approval qualification.

* Arranging and coordinating staff training and maintaining training records for each employee.

* Assist with the maintaining of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 quality management systems.

**Requirements**

* Minimum of 5 years' experience at senior management level in a similar position.

* Preferable experience in pressure equipment and manufacturing environment.

* Qualified to HNC/HND level in an appropriate related subject.

* Qualified European Welding Engineer/Technologist.

* Hold a PCN/CSWIP in an NDT discipline is desirable.

* Active member of the Institute of Quality Assurance with lead auditor qualifications is also desirable.

* Desirable experience in running and maintaining an ASME 'S' & 'U' stamp quality system.
