About the Role

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly skilled Revit Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Revit Technician, you will play a key role in delivering cohesive, integrated design solutions for a diverse array of building and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Output Generation: Utilize BIM software such as REVIT to generate design output, adhering to industry BIM standards, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliance with BIM Level 2 standard and beyond.
  • Working Drawings and Reports: Produce working drawings, reports, and specifications ensuring adherence to National/International Standards, statutory requirements, and the project brief.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Engineers and other designers to determine the format, scope of design data, and technical content required for the project.
  • Site Visits and Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits and perform measured surveying to ensure dimensional compatibility between proposed and existing structures, as needed.
  • Mentorship and Supervision: Mentor, support, and supervise Trainees/Technicians.
  • Workload Scheduling and Fee Calculations: Communicate effectively with the design team to establish the program and key dates for information issuance, contributing to workload scheduling for yourself and those you mentor/supervise.
  • Review and Compliance: Review the output of others, including models, drawings, schedules, and specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements and current best practices/standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the UK across a wide range of construction sectors.
  • Qualifications: HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Support for further training and development will be provided and encouraged, including EngTech.
  • Key Skills and Knowledge: Building Regulations, Structural Steelwork Modelling/Detailing, Reinforced Concrete Modelling/Detailing, General Construction and Engineering Detailing, Computer-Aided Design Software (AutoCAD, REVIT), Requirements of ISO19650 and other standards related to BIM and digital design.
