Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our IT department and drive innovation across the business. As Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and regular upgrades of all IT hardware and software, as well as driving IT projects across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the IT Department: Oversee the maintenance and regular upgrades of all IT hardware and software.
  2. Drive IT Projects: Drive IT projects across the business, ensuring their successful and timely completion.
  3. Stay Ahead of Emerging Technologies: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and present innovative solutions to improve business performance to the board of directors.
  4. Support the Team: Be hands-on when necessary, supporting the team with tasks such as IT installations at new sites.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with the board, presenting project updates and sharing strategic insights.
  6. Ensure IT Issues are Addressed: Ensure IT issues are addressed promptly, escalated where necessary, and communicated effectively across the business.
Requirements

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage IT teams and projects.

Skills: Proficiency in key IT areas such as:

  1. Office 365
  2. Sage
  3. CRM & ERP systems
  4. MS SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, VM Ware
  5. Cybersecurity (firewalls, VPNs, DNS)
  6. Network infrastructure
  7. Traditional telephony systems
