We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Caretaker / Cleaner Operative to join our team at Gofer. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of presentation, safety, and good order of our building, grounds, fleet, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of our office spaces, training rooms, and warehouse areas
  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, as well as arrange for deep cleaning as needed
  • Clean inside windows and manage the outside window cleaning service
  • Wash and dry machine-washable items as necessary
  • Remove waste from the building and empty bins daily, and organize large waste collections
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, repairs, and basic plumbing
  • Regularly check systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and are clean
  • Maintain health and safety standards in cleaning and maintenance, and report any health and safety issues
  • Help maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Reliable and honest with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in caretaking and cleaning roles, particularly with a strong knowledge of COSHH and health and safety standards
