Job Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of core technologies for our manufacturing products. As a key member of our Scrum team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing complex features and new subsystems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software components and prototypes using C++ and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, refactor, test, deliver, and maintain complex features and new subsystems
  • Work with product owners and product management teams to review and implement proposed designs
  • Improve processes and tools relied on by hundreds of developers across the organization
  • Work in an Agile environment as an active member of a Scrum team

Requirements

  • Experience in a software development team
  • First or upper-second class degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience with C++ in a commercial environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with source control systems, such as Git
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies, such as Jenkins
  • Knowledge of scripting and shell environments, such as Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript and web technologies, such as React and Redux
  • Familiarity with computational geometry
