Engineering Design Manager

We are a leading foodservice supplier in the UK, delivering high-quality fresh and frozen food and ingredients to a wide range of customers.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and project agendas of our Brakes and Fresh Direct businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering design, systems expertise, and design authority to support the development and construction of new or re-configured buildings.
- Work closely with Regional Engineering Managers to ensure the delivery of build plans, meeting key metrics including time, cost, and quality.
- Design and deliver facilities management assets that meet business requirements from a colleague, legal, and reliability perspective.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to prepare, approve, and execute capital projects following PM processes.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in an FMCG or industrial environment, with a strong background in project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of Health and Safety, Fire Strategy, and Building Regulations in construction.
- Relevant qualification (To HND or Degree level or equivalent).
- Highly motivated by the challenge of continuous improvement and value engineering for project delivery.
