Job Description:

We are working with an established textile product manufacturing company based in Middleton. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team on a 3-shift pattern (Monday-Friday) in return for a salary in the region of £42,000 - £45,000 along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following planned, preventative maintenance schedules
  • Reacting quickly to machinery breakdowns
  • Reading engineering drawings and schematics
  • Servicing machinery
  • Electrical maintenance and repair
  • PLC fault finding
  • Working with other departments to ensure production continues running
  • Recording all work carried out

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship
