We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to an individual with learning disabilities, Autism, and Diabetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered care and support to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage the individual to engage in activities they enjoy, such as arts and crafts, watching TV, and going out to the shops or days out.
- Support the individual to develop their skills and interests, including caring for their pet cat and two sheep.
- Drive the individual's car, as required.
Requirements:
- No previous experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Previous experience of Autism would be an advantage.
- Able to work 16 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the individual's needs.
