Key Responsibilities:- Deliver care and support in a sensitive and person-centered way, prioritizing the needs and preferences of our service users.
- Contribute to the development and review of individual care plans, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation.
- Administer prescribed medication under the supervision of the team leader and in accordance with CQC and Royal Pharmaceutical Standards.
- Assist with service user admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining confidentiality.
- Liaise with other agencies and professionals, including care management staff and residential unit staff, as necessary.
- Contribute to maintaining the safety and security of the premises, staff, and service users.
- Participate in health and safety initiatives and adhere to the Health and Safety Act 1974.
- Report any concerns or issues to the line manager.
- Support the induction of new staff and contribute to team meetings as necessary.
- Assist with domestic tasks and minor catering duties, including food preparation and serving at meal times.
- Adhere to DCC Customer Service Standards and promote a positive image of the organization.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a unified and flexible manner to deliver excellent quality services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of care and support principles and practices.
