Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver care and support in a sensitive and person-centered way, prioritizing the needs and preferences of our service users.

  • Participate in health and safety initiatives and adhere to the Health and Safety Act 1974.
  • Report any concerns or issues to the line manager.
  • Support the induction of new staff and contribute to team meetings as necessary.
  • Assist with domestic tasks and minor catering duties, including food preparation and serving at meal times.
  • Adhere to DCC Customer Service Standards and promote a positive image of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a unified and flexible manner to deliver excellent quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic knowledge of care and support principles and practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
