Quality Apprentice Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Apprentice to join our dynamic team at Premier Nutrition, a leading provider of vitamin premix to manufacturers of animal feed across Europe and Asia.

As a Quality Apprentice, you will play a vital role in our quality provision, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as nutritionists, production teams, and certification bodies. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, overseeing pest control activities, and supporting teams with complaint and internal failures investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal audits against standards like UFAS and FSSC 22000
  • Overseeing pest control activities and ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Supporting teams with complaint and internal failures investigations
  • Analysing incoming raw material using NIR
  • Handling data systems and reporting
  • Preparing samples for external analysis
  • Upholding feed safety standards

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grades 4-9 (A* - C) is necessary
  • A Level in a science-related subject (desirable)
