As a Lead Finance Partner, you will assume a leadership role within a team of adept finance and planning professionals. You will cultivate robust relationships with National Directors, leadership teams, and key stakeholders, delivering insights that facilitate informed decision-making and effective management of the Transformation Directorate's financial performance.

Main Responsibilities

The finance and planning business partner team offers high-profile, fast-paced roles with involvement in critical healthcare improvement projects. This position demands adaptability, rigor, and innovation, providing exciting development opportunities for those advancing their careers within the NHS, health, or public sector.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Professional finance qualification (full CCAB/CIMA or equivalent) along with substantial operational finance experience.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience at a senior level in a specialized area.
  • Strong numerical and technical communication skills, with the ability to convey clear information to staff and service users.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting, costing, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Expertise in management techniques to enhance personal and team effectiveness and influence strategic decisions.
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis, modeling, and presentation techniques.
  • Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships to advance organizational objectives.
