Position: Mechanic
Location: Derby, London
As a vital member of our Vehicle Mechanics team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our operations by ensuring the reliability of our fleet. The extensive variety of vehicles we manage provides ample opportunities for you to enhance and broaden your expertise. Whether working on light vans or larger tractor and trailer units, you will find a dynamic environment that encourages professional growth. Current automotive technicians looking to expand their skills to include heavy goods vehicles are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at £19.36, commensurate with your experience, along with shift premiums* and location allowances* (if applicable). Successful candidates will also receive a signing-on bonus of £1,000 (£500 upon starting and £500 after six months). Overtime opportunities are available and compensated at time and a half. Additional benefits include:

- Work flexible shift patterns
- Expertly perform a range of repairs and maintenance tasks on a diverse fleet
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections, complete online records, and manage stock control
- Collaborate with a team focused on quality to meet reliability and maintenance targets
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
- Strong initiative, planning skills, and a flexible, enthusiastic approach
- Full UK driving licence
- A C1, 7.5 tonne licence is advantageous, though not essential
