We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic primary school team in Nottinghamshire. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Support Teaching and Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, providing support to the class teacher and leading small group sessions.
- Deliver Interventions: Implement targeted intervention programs to support pupils with specific learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Assess and Monitor Progress: Assist in the assessment of pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Manage Classroom Activities: Take responsibility for managing classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Engage with Parents and Carers: Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in the learning process.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Qualifications: A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, with extensive experience in a primary school setting.
