Senior Associate Building Surveyor

Dove & Hawk is partnering with a leading development and construction consultancy to find a highly experienced Building Surveyor for their London office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Contract Administration and a deep understanding of construction contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality building surveying services and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
  • Play a key role in winning new business opportunities and helping to drive the company's commercial success.
  • Undertake a wide range of building surveying duties, including Condition Surveys, Building Surveys/Due Diligence, and Schedules of Condition.
  • Be accountable for the commercial success of projects and control workload and resources effectively.
  • Support Associate Directors and Directors in the day-to-day running of the business and provide guidance, leadership, and technical expertise to team members.
  • Take an active role in the APC programme by being a named supervisor or counsellor and conducting mock interviews for employees undertaking the APC process.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years' experience as a building surveyor in property & construction.
  • MRICS would be desirable but is not essential, as those qualified by experience are equally encouraged to apply.
  • Experience producing & administering construction contracts.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong IT skills (Microsoft office).
  • A positive and collaborative approach to work and a full UK Driving licence.
