Content Strategist

Job Title: Communications and Content Marketing Manager

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a seasoned Content Manager to spearhead our content strategy and execution.

About the Role

We're at the forefront of smart manufacturing, providing a fertile ground for creating cutting-edge content in multiple mediums like written and video. As our Content Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a content strategy that drives engagement and demand generation across various platforms.
2. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adapt the content strategy to meet changing market demands.
3. Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and shareable content across blogs, social media, videos, infographics, and other channels.
4. Create both long-form and short-form content assets tailored for demand generation and audience engagement.
5. Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and adheres to best practices.
6. Plan and execute content activation strategies to maximize reach and engagement in alignment with demand generation and social media.
7. Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of content campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
8. Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and create content that resonates with them.
9. Monitor audience feedback and engagement, using insights to refine content strategies.
10. Experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in content creation and activation, with a focus on modern, snackable, and clickable content.
3. Proven experience in creating both long-form and short-form content assets for demand generation.
4. Proven experience in building and leading content teams from the ground up.
5. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
8. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.
9. Experience with global content strategies, particularly in managing content for diverse audiences across the American continent.
