The Role
We are seeking a Medical Publication Manager to join our team. As a Medical Publication Manager, you will be responsible for the development of high-quality scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations. You will work closely with our pharmaceutical clients and clinical key opinion leaders to develop and execute strategic communication plans.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide project management and oversight for scientific publication projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
- Lead project calls with pharmaceutical clients and clinical experts to align on project scope and content direction.
- Ensure project information in publication records is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide direction and guidance to internal and external medical writers regarding assigned projects.
- Lead client publications team meetings and develop publication strategies.
- Communicate project status and changes effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of international requirements and guidance associated with scientific publications.
- Support, guide, and train junior staff.

Requirements and Qualifications
- PhD in life sciences or a biomedical MSc degree plus relevant work experience.
- Publication-planning experience in a medical communications agency, scientific/medical publishing company, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Team player with a learning mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn rapidly and apply knowledge in previously unfamiliar therapy areas.
- Strategic, critical thinking, and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to run multiple parallel projects and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
