Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Year 6 Educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to our students, ensuring they meet their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for Year 6 students, aligning with national standards and guidelines.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment, using data to inform instruction and drive student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching degree.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, ideally with Year 6.
  • Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and the ethos of the school.
