About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MHE Supervisor to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training and assessments for FLT drivers to ensure compliance with our program and timescales.
  • Perform internal racking inspections and MHE safety inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
  • Provide coaching and briefings to MHE drivers on safe working practices and behaviors.
  • Analyse and report on MHE driver audit data to inform training and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Health and Safety Manager to develop and implement effective training programs.
  • Investigate and report on accidents or near misses involving MHE.
  • Ensure the organization and maintenance of the warehouse and work area.
  • Control and manage MHE contractors.
Requirements
  • A sound knowledge of manual handling techniques to assessor level.
  • RTITB Lift Truck Instructor qualification.
  • Pivot Truck experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Investigation experience and computer literacy are advantageous.
