Assembly Technician Job Description

Rullion Limited is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Siemens Mobility in Goole. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe assembly of Gearbox systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with mechanical overhauls of traction Gearboxes, including disassembly and assembly.
  • Conduct mechanical inspections of Rail Gearbox parts to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Investigate and analyze failures and root causes of defects, identifying unique or serial issues, manufacturing or material problems.
  • Undertake necessary repairs and execute quality checks to industry standards.
  • Disassemble and reassemble products in line with works order instructions and customer expectations.
  • Improve productivity and efficiency in disassembly and reassembly processes, meeting customer order requirements.
  • Take responsibility for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and ensure control measures are in place, actively supporting a zero-harm culture.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including workshops and discussion groups, to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance.
