About the role

Title: Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate: £12.75

Location: CT1

Shift Timings: Flexible 54 hours per week

As a Retail Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing safety and security to staff and visitors in a well-known retail store. The store holds various stock, and officers are expected to be vigilant and proactive in maintaining a secure environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Patrolling the retail store premises to identify and prevent potential security risks.
  2. Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry and exit points to ensure the security of the store and its assets.
  3. Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices to prevent loss.
  4. Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
