Thales is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Manager to lead the development of our world-leading, high-assurance, and highly regulated product capability at our Crawley site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a growing and diverse team of high-skilled experts to achieve best-in-market levels of productivity while meeting strict time-to-revenue objectives.
- Deliver leadership across a diverse product portfolio of secure products that must operate from cradle to grave in a highly contested information space.
- Ensure that the components and portfolio for which you are responsible display the kind of benefits that make them the solutions of choice for Thales and its customers.
- Develop and maintain the unique skills within the team necessary to operate in this area while growing the team to align with a transformational vision.
- Combine product development, research, influence, and standardization to maintain a world-leading capability.
- 5-7 years of experience in bringing products to market in highly regulated, time- and cost-conscious markets.
- Experience in running teams using tools such as Visual Studio, IBM DOORS, IBM Rhapsody, GIT, Jira, Jenkins, C++, C, static analysis tools, and RTOS/OS.
- Experience working in Agile environments with exposure to Continuous Integration and desirably Continuous Deployment.
- Experience of CHERI, T1 cyber threats, and countermeasures, protecting IPR and know-how.
