Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Prison Support Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and residents at HMP Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of interpersonal skills to engage with and manage the people you look after.
  • Contribute to creating, maintaining, and promoting an environment that demonstrates an adherence to safety and security.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, visitors, and residents.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the prison by performing tasks independently or as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • A competitive starting salary of £22, with increases after 12 months to £24.
