Position: Lead Systems Engineer – Maintenance Design Support

Location: Various locations available.

Overview:
As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Your expertise will be essential in understanding and implementing the Quality and Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Management System documentation, including process instructions, workmanship standards, and risk assessments relevant to maintenance design tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver technical leadership and coaching to enhance team capabilities.
2. Engage with stakeholders and participate in collaborative working groups to support the scope of work for maintenance design.
3. Contribute valuable ex-operator insights for maintenance derivation outputs.
4. Provide accurate estimates for work scope and resource requirements to assist in bids, proposals, and project planning for maintenance design activities.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Background as a Submarine nuclear operator or maintainer.
- Proficient in analyzing complex engineering challenges.
- Comprehensive understanding of the engineering lifecycle and its alignment with support activities.
- Extensive knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) activities and their relationship to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with relevant Ministry of Defence (MoD) standards, industry practices, and corporate guidelines.
