Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Work Schedule: Days

Weekly Hours:
Week 1 and Week 2: Monday to Wednesday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Week 3 and Week 4: Thursday to Saturday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Compensation:
£40,000 base salary, with additional earnings from call-outs at £40 each and overtime paid at 1.5x rates. Total earnings can exceed £45,000.

Role Responsibilities:
The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
1. Conducting maintenance and repairs on all automated plant machinery to reduce production downtime.
2. Offering technical assistance on various projects, installations, and breakdowns.
3. Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess some of the following qualifications, though these are not mandatory as we value all applications:
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training.
- Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or production setting.
- Basic electrical knowledge for tasks such as replacing like-for-like components and performing initial fault diagnostics. While most issues are mechanical, electrical skills are advantageous.
