Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Event Technology Support Specialist to provide assistance in all technical facets of events at Ardingly College.

Role Responsibilities: In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Technical Event Support Manager to ensure exceptional production quality and upkeep of event facilities and equipment, particularly focusing on audio and visual elements.

Key Duties Include:

  • Providing technical assistance to staff and students
  • Supporting all audio and visual related events
  • Setting up, operating, and designing lighting and sound systems for various performances and events
  • Assisting in the construction and design of set and prop components

Candidate Profile: The ideal applicant will possess professional experience in theater; familiarity with digital mixing consoles, digital audio workstations, and sound reinforcement systems; and a fundamental understanding of other theatrical and event departments.

Compensation: Salary is set at £25,334 per annum.

Work Schedule: The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with flexibility necessary to accommodate the needs of students and the events being held.
