We are seeking a Quality and IMS Management Systems Coordinator to become part of our team based at our office in Solihull, West Midlands. This position is conveniently accessible by car or train from various locations.

Role Overview

As the Quality and IMS Management Systems Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in integrating and enhancing our core business management systems within the Tarmac IMS. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity of business systems and documentation while supporting the ongoing coordination and delivery of business system accreditation across various units.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing core business documentation and processes across Tarmac's management systems and SharePoint.
  • Managing and integrating Tarmac's SharePoint sites.
  • Implementing effective change management controls for essential business procedures and manuals.
  • Administering all business certifications, including registrations with external bodies.
  • Applying technical expertise across Tarmac systems by building key relationships to understand core operations.
  • Managing regular quality control data reporting from external suppliers.
  • Coordinating annual logbook processes, including adaptations and variations.
  • Providing support for systems-related requests linked to commercial bids and prequalification.
  • Assisting with top-level external management system audits as needed.
  • Bringing best practices from other regions through collaboration with the Q&S team.
  • Maintaining awareness of health and safety issues through participation in local briefings.
  • Coordinating core data management reporting across the HSEQ function.
  • Supporting the delivery of technology projects to enhance business performance.

Key Stakeholders

You will engage with various stakeholders, including operational teams, technical teams, area operations managers, national business units, third-party accreditation providers, and internal teams within CRH HSE Europe.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel in the role of Quality and IMS Management Systems Coordinator, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A recognized Management System qualification, ideally in ISO, along with relevant training.
  • Experience in managing and interpreting audit data, problem-solving, and coaching/training.
  • A willingness to travel between Tarmac's UK offices, with a company car provided.
  • A positive and approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
