Drama and Theatre Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Drama and Theatre Teacher to join our team in the UK. As a Drama and Theatre Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive Drama lessons following the UK curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Inspire and motivate students to explore the world of Drama, develop critical thinking skills, and excel in the subject.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Drama curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification (BEd / PGCE).
  • Proven success in Drama teaching.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching approaches and technology integration in the arts.
  • Strong communication skills to guide young actors and foster creativity.
  • An eagerness to embrace new cultural experiences and teaching methods.
