About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director in Dams and Reservoirs. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct technical design work for dams and reservoirs, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to relevant design standards and codes.
  • Develop and manage project briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals, driving business growth and success.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards in design, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Grow, develop, and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capability within the practice, driving business growth and development.

Your Requirements:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer with a strong background in hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs.
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of current UK design standards, guidance, and working practices, including the Reservoirs Act.
