About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Brand Marketer to join our team at Mulberry Recruitment. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and coordinating the marketing plan and budget for our sports brand in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan and budget, aligning with the global strategy and adapting to local market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the country manager to construct and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community managers, ambassadors, and influencers.
  • Plan and execute merchandising initiatives, working closely with sales representatives to drive sales and brand visibility.
  • Organize product testing sessions and events in partner clubs and venues, fostering brand engagement and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement a recruitment strategy, identifying and signing local players and juniors to represent the brand.
  • Analyze competitor activity and provide insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Participate in global brand activation seminars, contributing local expertise and ideas to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in marketing or sports marketing, with a strong understanding of the tennis industry in the UK.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
