About the Role: Gi Group is seeking dedicated packers to work with a prominent client in the food sector. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in packing and warehouse operations to advance as skilled operators, potentially leading to positions such as line leaders and mixing operators.

Working Hours: The positions are ongoing and temporary, operating on a day shift schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:45 PM
Totaling 39 hours per week at a competitive rate of £11.90 per hour.

Qualifications: While prior experience in a food production environment is advantageous, candidates with transferable skills and a positive attitude will receive comprehensive training. Experience in specific areas of food production is preferable.

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in physically demanding tasks including lifting and bending, while maintaining pace with fellow line workers.
- Accurately weigh out finished products and individual ingredients for each batch using scales, based on batch cards (e.g., bag weight, type of unit).
- Ensure that each blend is packed securely and correctly, adhering to quality standards.

Cleanliness Standards: A strict Clean As You Go policy must be followed at all times to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
