Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team of professionals at a Primary School in Sittingbourne, Kent.

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will support the team in promoting these values and contribute to the school's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of lessons and support students in their learning
  • Conduct cover lessons in the absence of a Primary Teacher, requiring strong classroom management skills
  • Support the school's values and contribute to a positive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 4 HLTA/TA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in a Teaching Assistant/TA role
  • Up-to-date knowledge of children's safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience with classroom management and cover work
