Position Overview
The role involves the planning, preparation, and serving of meals within a care facility, working collaboratively with fellow team members.
As a relief kitchen assistant, you will be expected to competently step in for the head cook whenever necessary.
This position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends.
The individual in this role is responsible for demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service through ongoing improvements that benefit both the service and the organization.
This position is classified as regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults in accordance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The selected candidate will need to enroll in the PVG Scheme or complete a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. It is the candidate's responsibility to provide this check. A confirmed job offer and start date will depend on the satisfactory outcomes of these pre-employment checks.
Additionally, this position requires a minimum of two references, one of which must be from your current or most recent employer.
