Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ground investigations, geotechnical design, and contaminated land risk assessment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our existing team on site and in the office, and will primarily involve:
- Conducting site visits to assess geoenvironmental and geotechnical conditions
- Carrying out desk study searches and reports to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Undertaking and supervising site investigations and in-situ testing to gather data and samples
- Compiling reports on contaminated land and geotechnical issues, both quantitative and qualitative
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience in the geoenvironmental and geotechnical industry
Qualifications:
- Minimum BSc in a Geological, Geoenvironmental, or Geotechnical related discipline
- A full UK driving license
Person Profile:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to write reports and liaise with clients and regulators
- Teamwork skills to work as part of a team to deliver complex projects
- Happy to work outdoors and adapt to changing environments
- Ideally needs to live within a reasonable commuting distance from our office
