About the Role: We are seeking a Production (Filling) Operative to manage and operate designated production lines, ensuring the achievement of daily operational targets while upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering the daily production schedule for the assigned line during shifts.
- Operate machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance as required.
- Understand and strive to exceed daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure the availability of necessary materials and packaging.
- Collaborate with Key Operators to execute startup procedures, maintaining high standards of manufacturing, hygiene, and safety.
- Facilitate effective handovers between shifts, remaining on the line until relieved.
- Monitor product quality, addressing any non-conformance with appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to SIC and Quality.
- Train fellow operators to ensure they are competent in their assigned roles.
- Exemplify and promote appropriate behavioral standards in alignment with company values.
- Adhere to food safety protocols, effectively managing Critical Control Points (CCPs) and following site quality procedures.
- Maintain GMP standards within the line/area, consistently seeking improvements.
- Exercise reasonable care for the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others.
- Perform any additional duties as reasonably instructed, within the scope of skills and abilities.
- Actively promote and comply with all company policies, procedures, and values.
