Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a number of skilled Vehicle Fitters to join our client, a large automotive and logistics company in the Sheerness area. As a Vehicle Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting out and converting Royal Mail vans to the required specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fitting out and converting Royal Mail vans to the required specification
  • Completing tasks such as parts and floor fitments, electrical wiring, door lock fitments, and installing and fitting racking systems
  • Working in a clean and busy mechanical workshop environment
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and high-quality work

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle fitting and a willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
