Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are maintained to the highest standards, undertaking planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work, and supporting the objectives of the client.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the facilities are in good working order.
  • Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work on electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution systems, motors, and pumps.
  • Work with Building Management Systems (BMS) control systems and PAT testers to ensure the electrical systems are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Electrician with experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting.
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
  • 18th Edition City and Guilds certification.
  • Experience in electrical power distribution systems and electrical testing.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • DBS Check before starting on the job.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £37,000 per annum.
  • A company van and fuel card.
  • A 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with standard hours of 8:30am to 5pm.
  • A 1 in 4 week on-call rota, with standby payment and relevant hourly rate.
