Become a vital part of a reputable manufacturing company as a Vehicle Assembly Technician.
We welcome candidates with experience in vehicle assembly or conversions, but those with a solid manufacturing background emphasizing quality, care, and precision will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with both hand and power tools and will have the ability to follow technical diagrams and instructions meticulously.
As a key member of the vehicle production team, you will play an essential role in the assembly process. Your focus on maintaining high-quality standards will ensure that production runs efficiently.
Compensation: £13.50 per hour based on experience, plus overtime opportunities.
Work Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an assembly or fitting role, particularly in mechanical assembly with a keen eye for detail.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and air-operated equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with effective time management skills.
Primary Duties:
- Executing tasks within the hand assembly production line to a high standard.
- Responsibilities include measuring, marking, cutting, and assembling components.
- Interior tasks involve panel fitting, measuring, marking, and preparing surfaces.
- Utilizing engineering drawings to install seats in vehicles.
- Identifying and resolving any quality concerns.
This position is well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in roles such as Assembler, Auto Electrician, Panel Beater, or Mechanical Fitter.
