About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planning Associate to join our team at Ocado Retail Ltd. As a key member of our Media Planning department, you will be responsible for delivering, consulting, and executing media plans to our key strategic FMCG suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a set of supplier partner media plans across onsite, offsite, and other media channels.
  • Work closely with the Buying department to ensure media plans are aligned with the commercial direction of the business.
  • Take full commercial responsibility for media plans with supplier partners.
  • Pitch strong, customer-first media plans linked to promotional plans and supplier objectives.
  • Manage to a commercial budget through building pipeline, pitching, and managing the business-to-business buy cycle.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience trading online.
  • Experience working with retail media plans, FMCGs, and/or agencies.
  • Strong passion for retail media and being part of a bigger transformation roadmap.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with suppliers.
  • Credible individual who can project trust to various stakeholders at different levels of organizations.
  • Commercially astute, comfortable with sales and negotiation.
  • Able to navigate complex situations and embrace ambiguity.
  • Able to communicate data and insight clearly and concisely to various functions at all levels of the business.
