Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and analytical cost accountant/management accountant to join our client's finance team on a permanent basis.

• Develop and maintain standard costing systems, including material, labour, and overhead costs.
• Conduct regular cost variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Prepare and analyse cost reports, including product costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate cost data.
• Assist in the implementation of cost management systems and tools.
• Provide support for continuous improvement initiatives by analysing cost data and identifying areas for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather cost information and provide financial analysis.

• CIMA/ACCA part qualified accountant who is actively pursuing the qualification.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Confident in managing stakeholder relationships and interacting with all levels of the corporate structure from production to the senior management team.
