About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our Electrical & Electronic Systems department at EES Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Model-Based Control Software and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage drive train software and torque control features
  • Review logical architectures, requirements, and safety requirements, and convert these to software requirements, architectures, solutions, and appropriate documentation
  • Review software architectures and solutions
  • Manage control software to deliver on time, to cost, and quality
  • Provide technical support to working groups and projects as appropriate
  • Plan and prioritize project activities
  • Maintain traceability of software units within MBCS
  • Lead a full V-Cycle development, controls theory, requirements capture/management, and test case generation
  • High proficiency in Matlab Simulink, logic development, auto-coding, and debugging on target hardware
  • High proficiency in vehicle communication systems (CAN, LIN) design, development, and simulation/analysis tools
Requirements
  • BEng or MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Embedded Systems Engineering
  • Relevant experience in software development and technical leadership
