Guarantee the effective and economical delivery of a customer-oriented operational service, encompassing all maintenance and repair tasks performed by the department.

Support the establishment of procedures aimed at the ongoing enhancement of the organization's repair service operations.

Employ a schedule of rates and detailed descriptions in the formulation of work orders.

Conduct pre, post, and interim site inspections.

Perform quality assessments on completed tasks or ongoing work.

Collaborate with the Project Manager and Area Housing Teams regarding repair performance and completion timelines.

Assist in identifying repair tasks that are not due to standard wear and tear.

Document photographic evidence and, when necessary, coordinate the costs for repairs to be charged back.

Monitor and report on contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Possession of CGLI/NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in a construction trade. Familiarity with the National Housing Federation's schedule of rates is essential. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the field is required. Experience in the social housing sector, particularly in voids, responsive repairs, and disrepair activities, is preferred. Proven experience in managing void property repairs, including work measurement, specifications, and post-inspection processes, is crucial. A demonstrated ability to enhance service quality and performance, along with proficiency in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, is necessary. Experience in a social housing or construction setting is mandatory.
