We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team of experts in Civils 3D design and modelling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing CAD-based deliverables, including 3D models and engineering drawings, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage engineering deliverables, including 3D models and drawings, to ensure compliance with relevant CAD standards.
  • Produce technical supporting data, such as specifications and reports, to support project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design coordination and integration of global models.
  • Design and develop visualisations and animations to communicate project information effectively.
  • Support the development of BIM Execution Plans for projects and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Apply health and safety, quality, and training policies to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Assist with site surveys and inspections to ensure accurate data collection and project delivery.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician with a strong background in Civil/Structural engineering and CAD design. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong professional experience in engineering within the Civil/Structural discipline in the rail sector.
  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D) AECOsim/OpenBuildings Designer and Autodesk products.
  • Experience of using Data Management Systems in Common Data Environment (CDE) and compliance with system standards.
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent in a relevant engineering or CAD subject.
  • Ideally, you will have achieved or be actively working towards EngTech or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in Information Management Systems such as ProjectWise.
