Technical Author Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Author to join our team at Pontoon. As a Technical Author, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality documentation that enhances the experience of our engineers implementing observability.

About the Role

As a key member of our Technology Central Observability team, you will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to ensure that our observability tooling is accessible to developers. Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to create high-quality documentation
  • Translate complex technical information into clear and concise documents
  • Develop user guides and technical manuals
  • Influence the structure and delivery of information to ensure it is accessible and valuable to end-users
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and technical writing skills, as well as the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. You will also need to have a strong understanding of technical concepts and be able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
