Primary Responsibilities
As a Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering the execution of large-scale projects valued between £60m and £100m+. These initiatives span various sectors including Custodial, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial for Kier. Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring construction progress, overseeing financial aspects, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will provide strategic leadership and guidance to Project Managers to facilitate effective implementation of project plans.
Your Daily Activities Will Include:
- Overseeing the pre-construction phase to ensure readiness for the construction stage.
- Managing operational communications and fostering relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Executing the project plan while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
- Delivering timely and precise progress reports to clients.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing major projects. You should be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Strong technical and operational expertise within tier 1 construction sectors.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Experience in leading senior management teams.
- Successful delivery of comparable projects.
