Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders, and power tools
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, grease, and other contaminants
  • Assemble and fabricate metal components using welding techniques
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in TIG welding is essential
  • Ability to TIG weld - Stainless steel is essential
  • Physically able
  • Proficient in assembling, fabricating, and welding sheet metal components
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in welding processes
