About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Teaching Personnel in Lincoln. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and instruction to students across various subjects and age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, including leading classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role.
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
